Is this site only for people with Down syndrome?

How do I help my adult child sign up?
Sit together at a quiet table. Let your adult child answer the questions in their own words. You can read the questions out loud or use our read-aloud button. Pick three happy photos together. Is Down syndrome marriage legal?

How do I stay safe on a first date?
Meet in a busy public place like a coffee shop. Tell a family member or friend where you are going and when you will be home. Keep your phone charged. Trust your gut - if you feel uncomfortable, leave. You never owe anyone a hug, a kiss, or another date.
What if I just want friends, not a partner?
That is great. Pick "Looking for friends" on your profile. You can join chat rooms about music, sports, art, or anything you love. Many friendships start here. Some friendships grow into love later. Some stay friendships forever. Both are wonderful.
